Jade Bangle Sizing Guide

A solid jade bangle must pass over the widest part of your hand. Measure carefully before ordering because jade is rigid and does not stretch.

Most reliable: measure a bangle that fits

  1. Place a round, well-fitting bangle flat.
  2. Measure straight across the empty inside opening.
  3. Measure from inner edge to inner edge—do not include the jade itself.
  4. Compare the result with the product's listed inner diameter.

If you do not own a bangle that fits

  1. Bring your fingers together and fold your thumb firmly across your palm.
  2. Wrap a flexible tape, ribbon, or paper strip snugly around the widest part of your compressed hand and knuckles, including the folded thumb inside the measurement.
  3. Use either calculation below to estimate the required inner diameter.

Convert your hand measurement

Metric

Centimeters × 3.15 = millimeters

18.4 cm × 3.15 ≈ 58 mm

Imperial

Inches × 8 = millimeters

7.25 in × 8 = 58 mm

Between sizes?

Round up rather than down so the bangle can pass over your hand. A particularly wide bangle may require a slightly larger inner diameter than a narrow bangle.

Important: Do not choose a solid bangle using wrist circumference alone. The opening must fit over your hand and knuckles. Product measurements are approximate, and individual hand shape and flexibility can affect fit.
